Custom Catbus plush sewn from a hand-made pattern. Original character design copyrighted Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki. Catbus is from "My Neighbor, Totoro".
About 85 hours of work went into this, from pattern development to final embroidery. Entriely hand sewn and hand embroidered, no machine use. About 17 inches long from head to tip of tail, and 7.5 inches tall when lying on tummy. Includes destination sign, and all four mousey headlights!
This is, by far, the most difficult and time consuming plush I've done. While the end result is great, I've learned so much during the span of my working on this, that I know I could do better. But that's why we do things, right?
Comments and Critiques are always welcome and appreciated!

With Ate by his side come hot from hell,
Shall in these confines with a monarch's voice
Cry "Havoc!" and let slip the dogs of war.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
This newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
